Dental

Our dental offering through PALIC provides coverage for preventive, basic, and major dental procedures. Standard 100/80/50 benefit structure. The most important factor for clients is whether their preferred dentist accepts the plan.

Vision

Traditional vision insurance is often not a good value. For most clients, the annual premium exceeds what they would save. We steer clients toward discount programs:

  • EyeMed: Wide network, discounts on exams, glasses, and contacts
  • Costco Optical: Cash prices often beat insurance copays
  • Warby Parker: Affordable frames + online renewal for many prescriptions

Vision Talking Point

Most times with vision, I have found that it is less expensive to either cash pay or use EyeMed and VSP as discount programs rather than traditional vision insurance. Clients appreciate this — it shows you are looking out for their wallet, not just adding lines to a policy.
